For almost of our tours, once tour is confirmed and fully paid but for one reason they cancel the tour, the following charges will apply in the event of cancellation prior to tour commencement:
- More than 30 days before arrival: No charge
- 15-30 days before arrival: 10% of total tour price.
- 7-15 days before arrival: 50% of total tour price.
- 4-7 days before arrival: 75% of total tour price.
- Within 3 days before arrival: 100% tour price.
Notes:
- There will be no refund given for any unused or missed ground arrangements, sightseeing, meals or hotel accommodations.
- For no show cases, there will be no refund.

In case of an unexpected situation/ bad weather causes an effect on your trip after commencement, we serve the right to change the itinerary of your booked tour for the safety of all clients in the group. If there are more than one solution, we will ask for your permission and agreement to do the next step. In such kind of cancellation, the refund of any payment on the un-used portion of transportation service, hotel service, car rental or tours will be given.

18:00 – 19.00: Back to junk for cooking class before having dinner on board.

10.00: Check out of the cabin. Start cruising towards the harbor while an A la carte lunch is served.
11.45 – 12.00: Disembark. Drive to Yen Duc village in Dong Trieu province.
14.00 – 14.30: Enjoy water puppet show performed by local artists.

Myself and my wife went on this cruise as part of our honeymoon itinerary. Red Dragon was selected for us by our travel agent. I guess the fact that the boat sleeps only 4 couples is a plus as you will not have loads of people on board whizzing around and round a table and during activities the fact that the boat is not loaded with people makes it easier to interact and make new friends. Although the weather for us was not so good, the crew always tried to make the best out of it to keep us entertained. Cai the barman (and a bit of everything else) is a very friendly guy, always smiling and ready to give a 5 star service. Mr T, the 5 star guide, was also very helpful and entertaining with his stories. The food in general was very good and well presented. Cocktails made by Cai were also very well made. The room was clean and the styling was very nice. The views in halong bay are spectacular.

Amazing trip to enjoy the scenery of Ha Long and Bai Tu Long Bay with the friendly staff and crew of the Red Dragon with the IndoChina Junk tours. Mr. Cai and Mr. T. took personal care of all the guests on this small but well stocked boat. The many events and activities kept us busy - kayaking, touring caves, barbecue on the beach and a sunset sail. The food is exceptionally good and plentiful. The cabins are comfortable and provide all the essentials. Our tour was amazing.

We were a group of 5 couples and were lucky the boat just had 5 cabins so we had the boat to ourselves. This was my second time for the Red Dragon Junk and I wasn’t disappointed. The boat is a little dated but spotless, great water pressure and even had wifi. The food was amazing and our guide Mr T and Cai took excellent care of us. Thanks for a great time Mr T and Cai!

We had a really great trip on the Red Dragon Junk with Mr T our guide. The scenery was amazing - a must do trip for anyone visiting Vietnam. The boat was nice - only five cabins so small - enjoyable taking to fellow travellers. Mr T gave a nice introduction to the sights, very courteous and helpful. Food excellent. Cabin and bar staff great. Issues for the Vietnamese authorities to address are (i) the terrible road from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay. Traffic and driving insane; and (ii) litter floating in Ha Long Bay. Not enough to spoil the trip by any means, but for a UNESCO world heritage site to have plastic and garbage floating in the sea and on the shores of the islands is less than ideal.
